Seven days after the victory against Huesca, Basketball Girona is back on the road to face Palencia Baloncesto in the Spanish pavilion this Friday (9:00 p.m.). The rival has a balance of eight wins and two losses and occupies third position in the table. As a local, with four victories, it has only fallen against Covirán Granada.

Led by Pedro Rivero on the bench, coach of HLA Alicante for the last four seasons, Palencia has one of the most complete squads.

In the outside section, point guard Micah Speight, former Oviedo player, stands out, who is a virtuoso profile in the imbalance both to attack the basket and to generate play for his teammates. Also the former wings of HLA Alicante, Chumi Ortega and Noah Allen, who are in good form and contribute both in attack and defence. On the interior side, the main highlight is five Bamba Fall who, with his length and agility, is a player with defensive presence and active in the pick and roll.
