Fontajau grows and new Girona Basketball season tickets open

Spar Girona season ticket holders and those on the waiting list will have priority. New registrations will open to the general public on Monday, November 3 at 12 noon.

The Fontajau pavilion will undergo an expansion this season that will allow it to respond to the great demand for watching Bàsquet Girona live in the ACB. After consolidating itself as one of the most attended venues in the league, the facility will take a step forward with an increase in capacity, which will go from 5,200 to 5,600 seats.

In total, 377 new seats will be added, part of which will be allocated to new season tickets and the rest will be reserved for ticketing and sponsors, guaranteeing both the growth of the social mass and attention to the needs of the club and fans on match days.

The measure responds to the need to give outlet to the growing interest that the project has generated in recent years and that had led to the exhaustion of the available capacity. With the expansion, more people will be able to be part of the unique experience of watching Bàsquet Girona live and enjoy the atmosphere that has become a distinctive feature of the pavilion.

Priority access and general sale

The new season tickets will be opened first to people registered on the waiting list and to Spar Girona season tickets, who will have a preferential period to purchase the card. Each ID card will only allow the purchase of a single men’s season ticket and the units will be assigned in order of purchase.

Once this period has ended, sales will open to the general public through the club’s official website. Units are very limited and are expected to sell out quickly, so you will need to be attentive and agile to secure a seat at Fontajau.

In addition to the option of a single payment by card, the new subscriptions will allow the amount to be split into two or three installments, to facilitate their acquisition and adapt to the needs of each subscriber.
