Bàsquet Girona and FIATC have launched, for another year, the “Emotion in Action” program, an initiative that aims to promote emotional well-being among children from schools in the city of Girona. In this first session of the season, two players from the first team, Juan Fernández and Otis Livingston II, participated, sharing their personal experiences with the students and highlighting the importance of taking care of emotional health on and off the court.

The activity also included the participation of psychologist Andrea Suazo, from Clínica Diagonal, a FIATC reference center, who explained to the children the relevance of emotional health both in sport and in everyday life, highlighting values such as managing emotions, teamwork and resilience.

The students of the Vedruna School in Girona were able to get to know the players up close, learn about the importance of maintaining a good emotional balance and participate in different dynamics and games related to emotions, in a morning full of learning, sport and values.

With “Emotion in Action”, FIATC and Bàsquet Girona reaffirm their commitment to emotional education, mental health and comprehensive training of young people, strengthening the link between sport, well-being and personal growth.
