After yesterday’s Bàsquet Girona BCR put on an exhibition at halftime of the ACB match that pitted the first team against Morabanc Andorra, today they were unable to round off the weekend and clearly lost against UNES Barça. It was a match in which the visitors were superior from start to finish, mainly due to the fact that the Blaugrana are a professional team that has several players from outside the Catalan territory with the sole aim of moving up, unlike the Girona The best players of the match were, on the part of the locals, Raúl Ortiz with 10 points and, as far as the Barcelona team is concerned, the Andalusian Fernando Valderrama, with 44 points. With this defeat, Bàsquet Girona is in third position in the group. The next match of the team led by Laia Planella will be next December 17, where they will travel to Castelló to play against COCEMFE.
