The first team visits Covirán Granada, the second team with the most victories in the league, on Saturday at 16:45. Básquet Girona will play its sixth game – third as a visitor – at the Palacio Municipal de Deportes de Granada. The opposing team is in second place with a record of 4 wins and 1 loss, just like TAU Castelló.

Pablo Pin, first coach since the 2013/14 season, has followed an upward trajectory since taking over the team in EBA Group D until 3 years ago, when it was promoted to LEB Or. The Andalusian team has six new faces, among whom is the pivot Bamba Fall, one of the most valued players in the last league thanks to his average shot accuracy (60´7%).

Lluís Costa also stands out, an experienced player in the category who knows how to play and generate play. The external reference is Thomas Bropleh, a gunner with ability in catch and shoot and who knows how to play direct blocking.

Statements by Carlos Marco:

“Granada has an experienced and very talented squad. Two game directors who play and play. Outside pieces that are capable of static shooting and two complementary inside players.”

“Like every week it will be a difficult game against a team that we already knew has good players. He is playing very well, with a lot of scoring and good percentages, but we face it with a lot of desire and excitement.”
