IBIS links up with Bàsquet Girona

The GROUPE HOTELIER GAUZE hotel chain and the Girona club have reached a collaboration agreement for the next three seasons

The Groupe Hôtelier Guaze, with 12 franchised hotels, establishes a link with Básquet Girona as a partner in the project that was created five years ago in Girona. Groupe Hôteliere Gauze, which has two establishments near Fontajau, the Ibis and the Ibis Budget Girona, is linked to the Girona club because of its desire to integrate into the Girona culture and the synonymy between its values ​​and those of Basketball Girona. Both Ibis and Ibis Budget Girona have always supported all kinds of sports projects, such as Uni Girona, and their aim is to help grow this basketball project.

Both establishments are part of the AccorHotels hotel chain which, founded in 1974, currently has 4,500 hotels in 100 countries around the world, two of which are in Girona. The French company is distinguished by a unique methodology and good customer service.  

Girona Basketball was born a year ago under the concepts of commitment, effort and methodology. With these pillars, the club has been building its story with an ambitious but humble outlook, prioritizing the value of daily work. For two seasons, in addition to the six base teams, the club has managed a senior team that this year plays in LEB Plata under the orders of Quim Costa.
