Ike Iroegbu signs for Basketball Girona

The American-Nigerian point guard hails from Italy's Universo Treviso Basket

Ikenna Iroegbu (Sacramento, United States, 1995), better known as Ike Iroegbu, is the third signing of Basketball Girona for the 2023-24 season. The point guard with dual American and Nigerian nationality (188 cm.) comes from the Universo Treviso Basket of the top Italian competition.

The new player of the Girona team has experience in the G-League, the German, Lithuanian, French, Israeli and Italian first division. He is an international with the Nigerian national team since 2017.  

Iroegbu averaged 16.2 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.7 assists in 27 minutes this past season.

His signing adds to the continuity of Jaume Sorolla, Èric Vila and Maxi Fjellerup and the arrivals of Stefan Dordevic and Juani Marcos. Quino Colom has a contract with the club.
