JAUME SOROLLA RENEWS WITH GIRONA BASKETBALL

The pivot will play the fourth season with the team from Girona

Jaume Sorolla renews with Básquet Girona and is the fifth confirmed member of the team for the coming season. The Tortoise infielder will play his fourth season with the team, with whom he has become a centenarian this year. Its continuity responds to the club’s desire to grow its assets and maintain a core of players who know the idiosyncrasies of Basketball Girona.

Fernando San Emeterio, the Club’s sporting director, declares: “Jaume will be an important player for us as he has been in recent years. Jaume Sorolla: “I value very positively continuing at Básquet Girona and completing my fourth season. I hope to make a qualitative leap offensively next year and reach higher sporting heights as a team.

Sorolla arrived in the 21/22 season in the team that obtained promotion to the ACB, coming from the FC Barcelona subsidiary. The 2022-23 season was his debut in the state’s top competition, playing in 29 games averaging 14 minutes, getting 3.6 points and 2.6 rebounds per game.

The Catalan pivot, 27 years old and 2.11 meters tall, has scored 2.6 points and 2 rebounds per game this season, and has played 103 official games with Basketball Girona.
