Jordi Pujol, new general manager

The executive, until now manager of the Girona Tennis Club, assumes a newly created position in the club's structure

Girona Basketball has appointed Jordi Pujol as the club’s new general manager. Pujol, who will assume his duties from tomorrow, Saturday, September 1, had been the manager of Club Tennis Girona until now. The creation of this new position responds to the organization’s will to strengthen and professionalize its structure in order to seek more synergies and partnerships to strengthen the project.  

“The demarcation of Girona and all its sports organizations show us every day that we enjoy a great culture and health at a sporting level. Girona sports fans deserve to have close to projects with the seriousness and ambition of Basketball Girona. It will be a pride to try to contribute my grain of sand to the team that makes up the club right now to try to keep improving all together for the benefit of basketball and sport. The immense possibilities of projection of the club added to a figure like that of Marc Gasol of reference turn this project into an extremely attractive proposition.”
