Jordi Sargatal takes the reins of the first team

Jordi Sargatal Prat is the new coach of Básquet Girona’s first team until the end of the season. The coach from Girona, who was occupying the position on an interim basis, had been assistant coach of the first team since this season. Sargatal has been part of the club’s sports structure since its foundation, in May 2014, in which he has trained different teams from the base as a second-year junior. Before his career in Girona Basketball, he had been part of the sports organization chart of the Sant Josep Girona Basketball Club, and spent three years as an assistant coach in the LEB Or.
