The Canadian pivot has experience in the NBA and the Euroleague
Khem Birch (Montreal, 1992) is a new player in the first team until the end of this course. The last team of the Canadian pivot (205 cm) is the San Antonio Spurs.
After starting his career in the G-League (second American category), the new player of the Girona team had his first experience in Europe with the Turkish Muratbey Usak Sportif shirt (2015-16). In the following season he would go to the Greek Olympiacos of the Euroleague, with whom he reached the final of the highest European competition. In 2017, he would begin his journey in the NBA with the Orlando Magic for four seasons, then he would wear the jersey of the Toronto Raptors (2020-23) to finish playing for the San Antonio Spurs, his last team.
Birch has also been international with National Team Canada and, among other appearances, represented the Canadian team at the 2019 Basketball World Cup in China.
