Looking for another win away from Girona

The senior will travel to the OIC-Penta UB Sant Adrià court on Saturday (6 p.m.), in the nineteenth day of the CA group of the EBA League

The Girona Basketball senior has lost in both trips this 2018, on the tracks of the two first-placed teams (Vive El Masnou Basketball and Club Bàsquet Menorca). On Saturday, he will visit the OIC-Penta UB Sant Adrià track (6 p.m.) with the mission of obtaining a victory there that, at least, will allow him to consolidate his third place in the CA group of the EBA League (13 -5).

After a magnificent start – they arrived as leaders in Fontajau in the first round match at the end of October, won by the Girona side (73-64) – the Barcelona team have been losing positions and are now ten points (7 -11) a still open streak of five losses. On their court, they have only been able to win one of the last seven games played there, against Coalci CB Sant Josep. The loss at the end of January of winger Albert Serra (12.7 points and 5.2 rebounds), who went to live in Malta, motivated OIC-Penta UB Sant Adrià to strengthen with two foreign players, the American Mario Fleurima and the Swedish Robert Halling. However, their statistical leader continues to be Òscar Amo, with 11.9 points and 9.2 rebounds on average.
