MONCHO FERNÁNDEZ VIDAL, NEW BÀSQUET GIRONA COACH

The Galician coach, with extensive experience in the Endesa League, will take over the Girona bench. Moncho Fernández (Santiago de Compostela, 1969) will be presented this afternoon as the new head coach of Bàsquet Girona after having managed a total of 444 games in the ACB league over 14 seasons. In 2009 he was the coach of CB Murcia and led Obradoiro from 2010, promoting the team in its first season to the ACB, and being at the helm of the project until 2024.
