The 23rd day of the Endesa ACB League will face Surne Bilbao Basket and Básquet Girona at the Bilbao Arena. The two teams have returned from the stoppage for selections without knowing the victory and will look to regain the victory in this direct duel.

Surne Bilbao Basket, coached by Jaume Ponsarnau, currently occupies eleventh place in the standings with a record of 9 wins and 13 losses. The Bilbao players arrive at the game after chaining 4 defeats in a row, 2 in the Endesa League and 2 in the Champions League. The Basques will return to play at home in the regular league after the international break with the intention of getting back to winning ways and looking back up in the standings.

On the other hand, Básquet Girona will play away from home after staying at the gates of the comeback in Fontajau against Valencia Basket. Aíto García finished satisfied in the second half of the match, but he wants the team to compete like this for the 40 minutes. The white-and-reds are currently thirteenth in the standings with a record of 8 wins and 14 losses, and will look to climb up the table and beat their rival’s “basket average”.

The match will be played on Sunday, March 19, at 12:30 p.m. at the Bilbao Arena. The match can be followed on dial 59 of Movistar Deportes.
