Nil Angelats, first reinforcement for the senior

The base from Girona played last season in Mollet (EBA) and returns to the city seven years later

Girona Basketball has reached an agreement for the next season with Nil Angelats. The base, born in Girona and resident in Vilablareix (1.85m, 13-6-1993), becomes the first piece of the senior, who will play for LEB Plata this year. Trained in the lower categories of Vedruna Girona and CB Salt, Angelats left in the summer of 2011 for CB Sant Nicolau (EBA), when he was linked to Básquet Manresa. There, he spent five seasons in two different stages (2011-15 and 2016/17). In this period, he got to participate in seven matches in the ACB with the Bages club. In between, he had an experience abroad, at Licher Basket in Germany’s 2nd division (2015/16). Last year, he played in CB Mollet, also in EBA.
