Quim Costa will train the senior

The coach from Badalona already played and also managed Valvi Girona in the nineties

Quim Costa will be the senior coach of Basketball Girona this coming season in the EBA League. The 59-year-old from Badalón has a long career as a player and on the bench, with a stint in the city of Girona in the early nineties. He played two seasons at Valvi (1990-92), a team he also managed a few years later (1994-96).

In more than two decades as a coach, he has worked, among others, at Barça, Unicaja and the Spanish national team, at the Beijing Olympics. Last season he decided not to train after being in charge of Huesca for four and a half years in the LEB Or, until 2016. His work has always been closely linked to the development of young talent.
