'Quino' Colom is already training with the team

‘Quino’ Colom is already in Girona and today he had the first joint training session with the first squad of Basketball Girona. Colom, who has spent the last few weeks concentrating with the Spanish national team, has finally been ruled out of the call for the Eurobasket, which will take place from September 1.

He arrives from AEK Atenes, has experience in the Euroleague, and has 249 games in the Endesa League, wearing the shirt of Baloncesto Fuenlabrada (2009-13), CB Estudiantes (2013-14), Bilbao Basket ( 2014-15), Valencia Basket (2019-20) and CD Baskonia (2020-21).

The base has already been placed under the orders of Aíto García Reneses and will thus be able to compete in the pre-season with the Girona team. He joins the signings that are already in dynamic training, such as Dušan Miletić, Pol Figueras, Ondrej Hanzlik and Kameron Taylor. Pato Garino, Maxi Fjellerup, Roko Prkacin are still concentrated with the Argentine and Croatian national teams respectively.
