The club offers fans an unbeatable Saturday afternoon of basketball and fun

The Club has experienced a season in which the fans have been more present than ever in Fontajau, a response that goes beyond sporting results. The large attendance of the public, day after day, has been one of the keys to the success of the season. This response from the fans motivates us to continue working to continue building strong and long-term bonds with our followers.

Since the beginning of the Club, we have known that success does not only depend on the performance of the team, but also on the unconditional support of our fans. For this reason, our commitment has always been to create experiences that involve and make each fan feel like an essential part of the project. Thus, we want each person who follows us to be an active part of our path to success.

In this sense, and facing the final stretch of the season, the Club has made an important decision: to make an economic effort to continue strengthening ties with the fans. We have launched two campaigns designed to offer more experiences and new opportunities to support the team.

One of these initiatives is “Fontajau On Tour”. This campaign is born from a commitment to the fans to respond to a request that they had been asking us for a long time: to give our fans the opportunity to follow and cheer on the team in away matches during the final stretch of the season. The campaign began with the match against Bilbao, and although the forecast was complicated due to the proximity of the dates, we are aware that the trips to A Coruña and Vitoria, due to the distance and the schedules, have not been easy to fill. Even so, we hope that in the remaining matches we will manage to mobilize more fans.

On the other hand, the campaign “We are a Team. One Voice” is a call to make the strength of the fans in Fontajau felt. Through this campaign, we want the stands to be one, one voice and one color, red, that transmits all the support for the team. Our goal is to turn the stands into the 6th player, the one that gives us a competitive advantage on the court. Thus, in the final stretch of the season, we want to dye Fontajau red and make people feel that, more than ever, we are a single team, with one heart.

This action includes the creation of t-shirts that aim to motivate fans to unite and shout together for the same goal. In addition, the atmosphere in Fontajau will be unforgettable, with the longest Fan Zone of the season, where there will be activities for the whole family. Taking advantage of the good weather and longer days, fans will be able to enjoy a full afternoon of Girona basketball.

The pre-match concert will be given by El Foment, with the participation of María Lamata, bar service and children’s activities. At the end of the match we will celebrate a Botifarrada, live music and bar service. Don’t forget that it is important to buy advance tickets through the APP to guarantee access and participate in this great party.

With these initiatives, the Club reaffirms its commitment to its fans and prepares to face the final stretch of the season with the energy and support of all our fans.
