Rubí's winger comes from FC Barcelona

Sergi Martínez Costa (Rubí, 1999) is a new first team player on loan from FC Barcelona. The ruby ​​wing (202  cm) has played the last three seasons in the Blaugrana first team.

After completing his journey in the lower categories of Barça, Martínez was part of their subsidiary team from the 2016-17 season until the 20-21 season, when he entered the dynamics of the first team. In these three seasons at FC Barcelona, ​​the Catalan player has completed 82 games in the ACB  and 65 in the Euroleague.

The new member of the Girona team has added 46.7% in shots from 2 and 33.3% in shots from 3 in 10 minutes on average in the ACB.

The signing adds to the continuity of Jaume Sorolla, Èric Vila and Maxi Fjellerup and the arrivals of Stefan Đorđević, Juani Marcos, Ike Iroegbu, Markel Brown and Yves Pons. Quino Colom has a valid contract with the club.
