Spar Girona grows in the final stretch, but loses in Istanbul to Galatasaray

Spar Girona lost to Galatasaray ( 67-57 ) on matchday 6 of phase 2 of the EuroLeague Women, in a match marked by home dominance for three quarters and Girona’s reaction in the final stretch. The Turkish team imposed their pace from the start, but Roberto Íñiguez’s team improved in the final period, closing the gap and competing until the end in Istanbul.
