Spar Girona gave Lima-Horta Barcelona no chance and qualified for the Catalan League final with a collective display at the Palau d’Esports Catalunya (108-35). The Girona team got the game on track after a devastating first quarter (27-7) and went into the break with the match practically decided (62-20). In the second half they maintained the intensity, with dominance in the rebound and a high pace in attack, to end up sealing an unassailable victory.

The first five minutes were marked by erratic shooting from both teams, until a timeout changed the dynamics of Spar Girona. From there, the Girona team imposed a high pace and dominated the offensive rebound, with the effectiveness of Carol Guerrero, the presence of Coulibaly in the paint and the success of Jocyte from the outside. The initial 27-7 run was the prelude to an overwhelming first half that left the score at a clear 62-20 at halftime.

In the second half, Spar Girona continued to impose their dominance with Coulibaly decisive in the paint and Jocyte punishing from the triple to further widen the gap. The rotations gave continuity to the team’s choral play, which was able to attack the spaces and find clear options until closing the semifinal with a resounding 108-35.
