Spar Girona will face Fenerbahce in the play-in semi-finals of the EuroLeague Women

Spar Girona already knows its opponent in the EuroLeague Women semi-final play-in. The Girona team will face Fenerbahce Opet in a best-of-three elimination match that will decide whether the team advances directly to the Final Six semi-finals or will have to play in the quarter-finals. Fenerbahce Opet finished first in Group F, while Spar Girona finished second in Group E, which determined this matchup in the semi-final play-in.

The series will begin in Istanbul on Wednesday, February 18, continue in Fontajau on Wednesday, February 25 and, if a third match is needed, it would be played again on the Turkish team’s court on Tuesday, March 3.
On the other side of the draw , Galatasaray Cagdas Faktoring will face Basket Landes in the other play-in semi-final. As for the play-in quarter-finals, ZVVZ USK Praha will play against Casademont Zaragoza, while Umana Reyer Venezia will face Beretta Famila Schio.
If Spar Girona overcomes the play-in against Fenerbahce Opet, the team will qualify directly for the semi-finals of the Final Six, where they would face the winner of the tie between Schio and Venezia. If, on the other hand, the Girona team fails to overcome this series, they would play in the quarter-finals of the Final Six against the winner of the duel between Schio and Venezia.
