Summary of the morning and afternoon matches (April 3)

This morning, matches were played in the group phase of both the Costa Brava Girona International Basket Cup tournament and the Farners Tournament.

In the Torneig de Farners, Cadet B (pictured, having lunch) beat CEB Girona by 48-60. At 15:35 they have the second qualifying match against CB L’Hospitalet, which will determine the crossovers tomorrow.

In the Girona Basket Cup tournament, the situation is as follows:

Infantil Vermell finished second in Group C after beating Sant Lluís Menorca 27-48 this morning, thus causing a triple tie that, due to the difference in points in favor, has left them in second place. As fate would have it, the opponent in the cross-overs for places from 4th to 8th is precisely the Infantil Blau of CEB Marc Gasol, who this morning lost 51-41 to Fundación Baskonia, thus ending up in third place in the group. The match will be today at 4pm in Quart.

For its part, Cadet A defeated Fundación Baskonia by 35 – 47, thus winning all the games in the group phase and finishing first in group A. They will face today at 6pm in Vila-roja in first place in Group B, which will be known in a few minutes (we will edit the news as soon as it is known).
