The Basketball Girona calendar at the ACB

Girona Basketball will debut in the ACB in Fontajau against Real Madrid (Wednesday 28 September, 9:00 p.m.)

The acb has announced the official calendar for the 2022-23 regular season. Básquet Girona will start and close the course  in Fontajau.

The team from Girona will make their debut in the Endesa League against Real Madrid, the current champion, in the opening match of the competition on Wednesday 28 September at 21:00. The first visit will be in the Canary Islands, at Santiago Martín against Lenovo Tenerife.

Básquet Girona will visit the Palau Blaugrana on Sunday, November 6 (5:00 p.m.). On Friday 30 December (9:00 p.m.) the first Manresa-Girona will be played at Nou Congost and, five days later, in the first match of 2023, the third official derby of the ACB season will be played against Club Joventut de Badalona in Fontajau (Wednesday, January 4, 8:30 p.m.).

The regular phase will conclude as a local  against Cazoo Baskonia on the weekend of May 20 and 21. 

Jordi Plà i Comas, sports director: “It’s an exciting and attractive start both for our stalwarts and also for the city of Girona because, after so many years without ACB basketball here at home, together we will resume the path by receiving the reigning champion in Fontajau It will certainly be very nice. Analyzing the whole calendar is of little value. The most important thing will always be the quality and the effort in our daily work and the full awareness that, every game we face, will be very complicated.”
