The debut at LEB Plata, on October 5 in Alicante

The first game in Fontajau for the seniors will be on the 2nd day, during the week and against Básquet Menorca, according to the schedule made public today by the FEB

The Spanish federation (FEB) announced today the LEB Plata calendar for the next season. The Girona senior team, which by geographical distribution is in the East group, will debut in the category on Friday, October 5 at the Lucentum Alicante court. The first game in Fontajau will be on the second day, against Básquet Menorca (October 10) and in one of the three weekdays fixed in this first phase, which will end on February 16. The Girona team will end up hosting Real Murcia Baloncesto at home.  

The competition system is a league of all against all (12 teams, 22 days), in which the first six will fight for promotion and the last six to avoid relegation to EBA. The first place in the East group at the end of the first round will contest the LEB Plata cup against the champion of the West group, in a match scheduled for December 22.
