The start of the game saw a Girona Básquet loaded with defensive intensity and accurate shots, achieving a 6-point lead at the end of the first quarter (21-27). However, in the second quarter, the success of the locals equalized the score, arriving at the break with only one point advantage for the Girona team (41-42).

The tension and equality of the two teams during the second half led to a heart-breaking finale that, thanks to a concerted play by the entire Girona team, resulted in a hard-earned victory (85-89).
