Next week, the ACB will stop the competition to make way for international commitments. Three players from Básquet Girona, Roko Prkačin, Dušan Miletić and Eric Vila, have been called up by their respective national teams to play on the third and fourth day of the qualifiers for the 2023 World Cup.

Eric Vila will make his debut with the Spanish national team. 6 games in the ACB League were enough to convince the coach, Sergio Scariolo, to include him in the call-up. The native could make his debut on November 11 against Italy or on the 14 against the Netherlands.

For his part, Dušan Miletić will be part of the Serbian selection, also for the first time. The start of the season that the 24-year-old pivot is making has led his coach, Svetislav Pešić, to include him in the call-up to play in the two matches, on November 11 against Great Britain, and on the 14 against Turkey .

The World Cup will be held between August and September 2023 in the Philippines, Japan and Indonesia.

Roko Prkačin will be called up with the Croatian team, with whom he already played in the Eurobasket this past summer. In his case he will play the pre-qualification of the Eurobasket 2025. Croatia will face Austria on Thursday 10 November and on Croatian soil against Poland on Sunday 13 November.
