The U17 and U18 reinforce the leadership

The U13, U14 and U16 contested the third day of the second phase, while the U15 started the second round

U13

The people from Girona prevailed by a tight 81-80 at Copiservi-CB Cornellà in the match that closed  the weekend in Montfalgars. The U13’s were ahead on the scoreboard for much of the first half, but at half time the visitors  they advanced  (40-44). In the second half, equality was maintained between the two sets and the duel  he ended up making up his mind  in the last seconds.

U14

The team led by Arnau Sacot and Sergi Juanola obtained a result of 75-41 against Torrons Vicens Força Lleida CE A.  Girona dominated the scoreboard at all times and with this victory  they were able to add the first triumph of this second phase.

U15

The Escola Bàsquet Girona received the leader of the group, the CB Vic-Universitat de Vic 1 in a duel that was equal between the two teams. In the final minutes, the visitors knew how to control the match and obtained a score of 58-67.  

U16

The team led by Raül Galobardes and Oriol Ribas played a tight game against Platges de Mataró. At the break, the score was 36-41 and at the restart the Girona team adjusted the differences. In the end, the visitors won 72-77.  

U17

The U17 remain leaders for one more day after winning 59-36 against CEB Girona B in the  game that opened the second round.

U18

The biggest in the club  they won  at CE Sant Nicolau 1 in the first game of the second round by 60-57. In this way, the Girona players are the sole leaders of Junior Interterritorial.
