The U17 fell by the minimum on the UE Mataró-Germans Homs track in the last meeting of the regular season. The match was very intense from start to finish. The local team started by commanding from the defense but Girona’s energy allowed the team to stick to the match situation at half-time (32-33). In the resumption, the opponent increased the toughness and defensive pressure but the visitor’s outside success allowed them to maintain the advantage of one point. In the final stretch, the Mataroní group managed to find easy baskets but the seventeen-point lead from the first leg of the tie was not in danger thanks to the success of the free throw. The youngest members of the base won the last match of the domestic competition in Montfalgars against CB Blanes. The team from Girona dominated the game from the start, loading the offensive rebound and defending very aggressively at all times.
