Third game in Fontajau

The team receives the CB Almansa con Afanion, with the same number of victories as defeats

Básquet Girona will play the third game in Fontajau in the third match of the day in group B of LEB Or, Saturday at 7:30 p.m. The opponent will be CB Almansa con Afanion, who arrive at the Girona pavilion with the same number of victories as defeats (2).

The Manche team is led on the bench by Rubén Perelló, who completes the fifth season after promoting the team consecutively in the first three from Primera Nacional Manchega (fifth division) to LEB Or (second division). From last season, Almansa retains three players: Nikola Cvetnovic, Chuso González and Robert Harris II. The latter was already part of the squad for the last promotion, in the LEB Gold, when Manche and Girona met in the “East” group of LEB Plata in the 2018/19 season.

The American escort has a great talent in the individual imbalance, like Josep Pérez, a Valencian from the Barça youth team who carries the baton of the game and has points in his hands. The experience is provided by Carles Bivià, with experience in the ACB, while the Serbian Cvetinovic is the internal reference of the team.
