Coinciding with the match against Barça, the club will pay tribute to Girona’s Jordi Trias for his professional career in elite Catalan and Spanish basketball. The event will take place on Sunday 22 December at the Palau pavilion during the break of the match between Básquet Girona and Barça.

Jordi Trias made his elite debut on October 31, 1999 with Casademont Girona in Fontajau when he was playing with the affiliated team, Adepaf Figueres. After the transfer to Murcia, the doors of the Girona first team would be opened to him, where he would be there for two and a half seasons. He would then return to the ranks of Barça, where he would live his prime years, with the achievement of the Copa del Rey MVP in 2007 and the Euroleague in 2010.
