U18

The U18 lost the last match of the season against Barça at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper (84-45). The team from Girona came out strong, ready to improve the image of the first leg, arriving at half-time only nine points behind (31-22). A 14-2 run at the restart would catapult the culer advantage to twenty points before the final ten minutes, when they would widen the gap even more.

U17

The team trained by Rafel Fexas and Oriol Ribas beat CB Mollet C by 59-70. An energetic start by the Girona team, dominating the rebound and attacking on the counter-attack generated the first advantages in a score that was always in their favor. In the rest of the match, the local group posed obstacles to the visitor’s transition, but Girona’s good defenses ended up tipping the balance.

U16

The second-year cadet won in the last period against Olesa de Montserrat (65-72). The group from Girona came from behind on the scoreboard at the end of the first quarter, in the face of a good rival offensive approach, but they recovered in the second from good offensive actions that allowed them to go to the locker room with a cushion of positive points (30 -41). The rival, however, re-entered the game and, thanks to good staging in attack, the team of Arnau Sargatal and Enric Corominas took the victory.

U14

The generation of 2007 won the Olímpico de Badalona against Club Joventut de Badalona B (66-97). Both teams had a particularly effective first half scoring both from the outside and on the counterattack (23-35). In the second period, the defensive performance was more solid, which made it possible to extend the advantage at the break (34-53). In the restart, the Girona team managed to widen the score from the pressure throughout the court, which allowed them to find situations close to the basket.
