The game started with a lot of intensity and pace, but with inaccuracies on the part of both teams. Bàsquet Girona managed to close the defensive rebound and put pressure, which allowed the Girona team to continue with the advantage on the scoreboard. Ryan Logan with his second three-pointer in the first quarter has left the home advantage at four points (14-10).

The second period began with a three-pointer by Robert Cosialls and great defense by Bàsquet Girona.
