Básquet Girona plays this Sunday (5pm, Movistar Deportes 3 #65) the first ACB derby of the season against Barça at the Palau Blaugrana. The team thus begins a tourmalet of matches against Catalan teams that will be followed by the confrontations against Andorra in Fontajau, Manresa in the Nou Congost and finally Penya at home. The Blaugrana occupy fourth position in the classification with seven wins and three defeats.

Barça has changed its technical leadership with the addition of Roger Grimau. In the squad, he has added the scoring and unbalancing talent of Darío Brizuela, but the pieces he has added inside stand out, with the versatility of Joel Parra, the class of Jabari Parker and the centimeters of Willy Hernángómez.

Pre-match statements:

Salva Camps: “I’m going to the Palau Blaugrana to compete, to do our things. We’ll see if we reach the end of the game with options to win. The most important thing is to compete.”

Quino Colom: “The team’s choices in the Cup are determined by the classification. We will see how the team reaches the table at the end of the first round. At the moment people are enjoying themselves with the team and we want it to stay that way.”
