The match started with a very balanced first quarter. Valencia Basket stood out with shots from the three-point line, while Bàsquet Girona responded with success in the inside game. Despite the initial equality, the visitors managed to leave at the end of the first period with a five-point advantage (14-19). The offensive contribution of Ike Iroegbu (6 points) and Juani Marcos (5 points) gave impetus to the Girona team, who managed to cut the gap to three points at the beginning of the second quarter. However, the Valencian team prevailed again, with a total of 7/10 in three-pointers, reaching the break with a favorable score of 41-47.
