Básquet Girona returns to Fontajau, in the first of the two matches of the week at home, this Wednesday against Juaristi ISB (23/03, 20h). The game against the Basque team, the opponent of the first win of the season (63-70), was postponed due to covid on the last weekend of January. Juaristi returns to Fontajau more than two years later, being the last team to play in Fontajau before home confinement.  Txemi Urtasun will not be able to play because he was not registered in the team on the original date of the match while Gerard Sevillano is a doubt due to his ankle injury.

In front will be an old acquaintance from the first team in Girona, Iñaki Jiménez’s Juaristi ISB, with whom we will see faces in the last season at LEB Plata. It is the third consecutive season that the Basque coach is in charge of the Azpeitia team, which is living its second adventure in the LEB Or after the 2017/18 season.
