The team loses to Malaga in a second half (111-80)

The first stages of the match were equal but Malaga made the first difference after taking advantage of unforced errors by the team from Girona. Ike’s 10 points allowed the visitors to continue in the game (29-21). In the second period, a partial 17-9 catapulted the Malaga team, who were very successful from outside (8/16 at halftime). However, Katsikaris’s team reacted with a 2-10 run that allowed them to move back to six points before the triple final from Málaga (57-48).

The rematch was Malagasy from start to finish. A 34-15 first half saw a thirty-point advantage with a much more energetic home team at the back and very inspired up front. The team from Girona only managed to connect a three-pointer from eighteen attempts in the second half and the game got away (111-80).
