The first victory of this match was in Girona, when the Fontajau pavilion was closed due to Covid, where the locals won against the Andalusian team (81-66). The following season in LEB Or, the match was one of the best matches of the whole season, where Granada, unbeaten in the league, wanted to continue their streak, thus achieving their only victory in Fontajau.

The first match in the top category was won by the local team with an anthological Kameron Taylor who took off to the 40 rating, a record for a Girona Basketball player in the ACB.

In the last meeting between the two teams, Fotis Katsikaris celebrated his debut as coach of Basketball Girona with a comfortable victory (80-61). This Saturday, the Greek coach could add his 200th victory in the ACB.
