FIATC Girona lost in their debut in the Catalan League against iLERNA Lleida (88-98). Despite dominating throughout the first half in Fontajau, a great outside shot by the Lleida team in the third quarter turned the score around. The Girona team tried to react in the last minutes, but the victory ended up going to Lleida, which certifies their access to the final. Tomorrow, Girona will close the group stage facing Joventut de Badalona.
The start of the game kept the score tight until two three-pointers by McGhee led Moncho Fernández to call a timeout (8-11).
