The U16 men's team goes to the Spanish Championships

The men's cadet team finishes third in Catalonia and will compete in the state championships in Algeciras

Bàsquet Girona U16 men’s team has qualified for the Spanish Championships after defeating Occident Bàsquet Manresa in the match for third and fourth place in the Final Four Preferent Cadet Men’s. After the historic access of the U18, Bàsquet Girona U16 Basketball team achieved access to the Spanish Cadet Men’s Championships for the first time in the club’s history.

The road was not easy. In the semi-finals of the Final Four, they faced Barça, who would end up winning the final against Penya. Despite the defeat, the team made a commendable collective effort and did not give up in the face of a very demanding challenge. In the match for third and fourth place, Manresa offered a thrilling match in which the Girona team, with talent and ambition, took an eight-point lead in the final stretch that they could not let slip.
