Lara Arenós has completed a World Cup experience with the Spanish national team, which finished the World Wheelchair Basketball Championship in Ottawa in a historic sixth position.

The Bàsquet Girona player made her debut in the competition in Spain’s victory over Australia (55-50) and also participated in the quarter-finals against the Netherlands (38-75). Arenós later played again in the fifth-to-eighth place match against Japan, which Spain defeated 67-46.
The Spanish team closed its participation against China with a 44-67 defeat; even so, it achieved a great result with a sixth place that confirms the growth of wheelchair basketball in the state.
For Lara Arenós, participating in Ottawa represents a new step in her international career and a first-class experience sharing the court with some of the best players in the world.
