Lara Arenós, protagonist in the Wheelchair Basketball World Cup

The Girona Basketball player will compete with the Spanish national team at the Ottawa World Championship

Lara Arenós, a player for Bàsquet Girona, is already in Ottawa to compete with the Spanish national team in the IWBF Wheelchair Basketball World Championship. The world championship, which will be held from September 9 to 19, will bring together the best athletes in the world in a unique competition and will turn the Canadian capital into the world epicenter of this sport.

The World Cup will feature the participation of 336 athletes from 28 teams, with 16 men’s and 12 women’s teams, who will compete to be proclaimed world champions and demonstrate their talent, resilience and athletic ability.
