Bàsquet Girona will compete in the FIBA ​​Europe Cup

The club will make its debut in European competition next season.

After completing the best season in the ACB, Bàsquet Girona faces a new challenge for the next season: the FIBA ​​Europe Cup. The qualifying position qualifies it to debut in the European competition in one of the tournaments organized by FIBA. Thus, the club will begin its competitive continental journey twelve years after its foundation and four seasons since its ascension to the elite of the state basketball.

The competition format consists of two regular phases and an elimination phase in which sixteen teams will compete for the cup from the round of 16. The first phase of the European championship is included in the Bàsquet Girona season ticket. Should the team advance in the European competition, the procedure will be announced through the club’s official channels.
