A new edition of the Collell campus begins

The Basketball Campus 2026 began this Sunday at the El Collell Sports Complex with the participation of 185 boys and girls, who throughout the week will enjoy an experience focused on basketball, training and the values ​​of the sport. The opening day was dedicated to the arrival of the participants, the distribution of the working groups and the presentation of the team of technicians and monitors who will accompany them during the campus.

After the first group dynamics, the young people were also able to step onto the court to begin their first training sessions and get to know their teammates. This year, the campus once again stands out for its diversity of origins. In addition to having participants from the city of Girona and different municipalities in the region, boys and girls from cities and towns such as Shanghai (China), Madrid, Barcelona, ​​Manresa, Holzem (Luxembourg), Sallent, Espinavessa, Tarragona, Sant Quirze del Vallès, Andorra, Lanzarote and Arrecife are also taking part, a demonstration of the scope and appeal that the Basketball Campus continues to have.

Over the next few days, participants will combine technical sessions, competitions, recreational activities and social spaces, in an environment designed to promote both sports development and personal growth. Once again, the El Collell Sports Complex becomes the setting for one of the leading summer campuses, thanks to its facilities and a natural environment that offers the ideal conditions for participants to experience a week of basketball, fun and new friendships.
