Cadet B will fight for seventh place in Farners

The Girona side fell to Real Madrid in the quarter-finals in the morning by 80-34 in a match in which the scoreboard reflected a 42-16 half-time score. The Cadet B was very intense and with good actions of the game, but the white team widened the differences until adding a victory that left the team led by Carles Nadal and Oriol Ribas out of the semifinals of the tournament. Biel Espunya has not been able to play any minutes due to an injury sustained the previous day.

In the afternoon, Cadet B faced Catalana Occident Manresa in a duel to decide from 5th to 8th position in the tournament. The Girona team have made a bad start to the game and this has placed them sixteen points below. In the second quarter, Cadet B turned up the intensity and trailed 27-36 at the half. In the second half, the Manresans have again taken distances on the scoreboard up to  place the final 44-82. The Girona team will fight this Sunday (9:00 a.m.) for seventh place against CB Cornellà.
