Last Saturday, January 9, the competitions resumed.

INFANTRY B

Infantil B made its debut in this second phase of the Infantile Championship Level B, in group 1, where there are the Girona teams that had achieved a better classification in the respective groups of the previous phase. They did it on the CE Bisbal Básquet court, a team with which they had already met in the previous league and with whom, in addition, they had played the last game of 2015. The team coached by Arnau Sacot and Marc Costa, which had the absence of Llorenç Costa, had just played the Torneig de Reis de UE Sant Cugat the previous weekend and faced the match with the will to continue growing and you progress in your learning. After a very even start, the team was able to start to open a small gap on the scoreboard, but it wasn’t until after the 4th period that the differences widened. The final score was 49-75. The team’s next match will be against CB Farners, who will visit us in Montfalgars on Saturday 16 January at 7.30pm.

CADET A

Cadet A started the second phase of Preferent B, receiving FC Barcelona – Lassa B at the Montfalgars pavilion. Both teams knew each other since they had faced each other twice in the first phase, with a record of one victory for each team. After a period without playing matches over Christmas where the team had focused on continuing to improve certain aspects of the game in training, it was the opportunity to be able to embody the work done on the court. In the first quarter, the team already took the initiative on the scoreboard from a good start, and finished each of the four periods with an advantage, but the threat of the Blaugrana team was constant and on several occasions they came close- se on the scoreboard, but finally, the team was able to debut with an 80-73 victory. Next weekend the team trained by Jordi Sargatal and Andreu Vilà will visit the UE Horta track.

JUNIOR A

The Junior A team, which is getting closer to being able to recover Adrià Cabanillas, had a new absence for this match, that of Martí Guardiola, due to muscle discomfort. FC Martinenc was visiting Montfalgars and after a local start that allowed them to go 10 points ahead, a phase of the game quickly entered in which both teams had great difficulty scoring. In the resumption, it continued with the same tone and it was not until the last attack that the team coached by Quim Gala and Bernat de las Heras was able to materialize an agonizing victory through a free kick by Jordi Carrera with time already finished

JUNIOR B

As for the other teams, which did not play official matches yesterday, Junior B had a rest day according to the calendar and received CB Arbúcies in Montfalgars, who were in the same situation, and won 54-47 . The team coached by Andreu Vilà and Sergi Juanola will receive the visit of CB Salt B next Saturday at 4pm in Montfalgars.

BI CHILDREN’S CADET A

Infantil A and Cadet B played a training match against each other, waiting for the second phase of their respective championships to begin next weekend. Some will receive the Joventut de Badalona next Saturday at 5.45pm, while the others will visit CEE Sant Gervasi next Sunday at 12.30pm.
