Next Sunday, December 18, TV3’s La Marató will dedicate its 31st edition to cardiovascular diseases, the main cause of death in developed countries and one of the most relevant public health problems.

Once again, Básquet Girona will participate by organizing different events during the match that will be played in Fontajau, against Casademont Zaragoza, on the same 18th of December.

From 10 a.m. until game time, various awareness activities for cardiovascular diseases will be carried out. Fans who come to the Fontajau Pavilion will find:

Fiatc stand: with awareness activities for cardiovascular diseases.

The Gicor space: a caravan where blood pressure can be measured and cardiovascular disease prevention tests carried out.

Basket for Cardiovascular Disease – a challenge where the club will donate money for every basket scored by fans.

Espai Básquet Girona: a marquee selling exclusive “batega amb noso” products and a space to make donations for La Marató. 

Free basketball space: a space with two baskets where fans can play and paint their faces to cheer on the team.

The theme of the party will also be dedicated to this cause; the interiors of the shooting circles will feature an exclusive La Marató design.
