The flame will take a route this afternoon through the streets of Girona, up to Plaça del Vi
The Girona senior winger will be one of the torch bearers for the Special Olympics Games, which will arrive in Girona today. David Cuéllar will carry the flame in the first section of the route, which will leave around six in the afternoon from the Fontajau pavilion. It is planned to move through the streets of the city until arriving an hour later at Plaça del Vi, in front of the Town Hall.
The Special Olympics Games, which are held every four years, will celebrate their eleventh edition this year. The competition will be held from October 4 to 7 in La Seu d’Urgell and Andorra la Vella and around 1,500 athletes with intellectual disabilities will take part.
