Basketball Girona and David Cuéllar have agreed to renew the Lleida winger for another season. The outside born in Benavent de Segrià (1.97m, 8-9-1997) started in basketball in the lower categories of Maristes Montserrat de Lleida and, as a child, he would go to Lleida Bàsquet. He would play there until the summer of 2014, when he left for Fuenlabrada before his second junior year. He would spend three seasons at the club from the south of Madrid (2014-17), the last two with the subsidiary, one at LEB Plata and the other at EBA. He would also make his debut with the first team in the ACB. Last year was his first year in Girona (EBA).

-Your assessment:

“It was an easy decision. From the moment I left the city last season, I saw clearly the option to continue. Here I progressed in aspects of my game that I hadn’t worked on in the past and I also improved mentally.”

“I’m happy to continue to be able to develop as a player, but also as a person. I hope to continue in the same line of work as last year in a category like the LEB Plata, where nobody gives anything away.”
