The team from Girona has managed to maintain its solid defense in the first attacks of the team from Granada. In the last minutes of the first quarter, Covirán Granada’s success allowed them to gain a four-point lead (10-14).

At the beginning of the second quarter, the visiting team managed to extend the advantage on the scoreboard by reaching a partial score of (0-7) in the first three minutes. Despite the cheers of the fans, the Girona team could not reduce the difference in the score before leaving for the dressing room (25-33).

In the resumption, the Andalusian team continued with the momentum extending the score, going into the last quarter with a difference of 22 points (38-60). The game ended with the first home defeat of the season (52-82).
